Certificate II in Skills for Work and Vocational Pathways

  • This qualification is designed for individuals who require further foundation skills development to prepare for workforce entry or vocational training pathways.

    It is suitable for individuals who require:

    • a pathway to employment or vocational training
    • reading, writing, numeracy, oral communication and learning skills at Australian Core Skills Framework (ACSF) Level 3
    • entry level digital literacy and employability skills
    • a vocational training and employment plan.

    This qualification requires the completion of the following 15 units:

    FSKLRG11         Use routine strategies for work-related learning
    FSKNUM14       Calculate with whole numbers and familiar fractions, decimals and percentages for work

    FSKWTG09       Write routine workplace texts
    FSKLRG06         Participate in work placement

    FSKRDG02        Read and respond to basic workplace signs and symbols

Certificate II in automotive vocations preparation

– Taking Expressions of Interest Only –
  • Nil.

  • This qualification covers the skills and knowledge required to perform a limited range of tasks related to familiarisation and inspection of mechanical and electrical components and systems of cars, heavy vehicles, outdoor power equipment, bicycles, marine craft and motorcycles.

    This qualification also covers the skills and knowledge required to perform minor maintenance and repair of an automotive vehicle body. The range of technical skills and knowledge is limited.

    This qualification requires the completion of the following 12 units:
